I’m with you with respect to Twitter. It remains a useful source of information, though I post less there than I used to. There is lots of good discussion at Bluesky, and many good people, but the population size is still low. I have always managed my Twitter account carefully to minimize trolls and fools. I will leave eventually, unless musk sells it to someone more reasonable, but I’m there for now.
Wikipedia, against many headwinds, has remained an excellent resource for biology, with good species descriptions, and up-to-date taxonomy.
