Amid the nonstop surge of imperious, wrecking-ball-style actions emanating from the Trump / Musk command center (it's not a government at the moment), it's essential to take a breath, dump the dueling pundits and news flood and simply convene to share songs, poems, insights, ideas and emotions.
That's what my Sustain What "Sunday Sanity" webcasts tried to do through the pandemic years. That's what we're doing again now.
Today, February 16, we had a marvelous 90 minutes with Michele Gedney, David Ross, Rick and Donna Nestler, Carter Brooks and Geoff Warner, and then a wonderful surprise as David Amram, the amazing folk and classical and jazz composer/performer (and a longtime friend from my Hudson Valley days), joined us with fascinating and hilarious thoughts and some musical riffs.
